Confirmed Service Customer
My first service at Knudtsten and I was very impressed with the communication and the quality of service performed. Truck was ready when promised. My one complaint is definitely NOT with the service team...they were outstanding. My complaint is with the sales group and GM in particular. I purchased a 2500 HD specifically to tow my Airstream trailer. Both GM and Knudtsen were aware of GM service bulletin #23-NA-149 indicating that my trailer brakes may not work if my trailer is equiped with solar panels. Apparently it is an easy (replacement of the trailer brake module) fix but no one at Knudtsen or GM bothered to bring this to my attention; so unfortunately I became aware of this issue while towing my (approximately) 10,000 lb. camper in the Rocky Mountains. Fortunately I did not have an accident but to say the least there were many hours of very uncomfortable driving. That was not the experience I had expected from a brand new heavy duty truck.
