Confirmed Service Customer
I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 10pm on 12/17. I dropped off the truck at 6:30am and dropped the keys in the night drop off box and left instructions I would pick up the truck at 4pm on 12/17. When I arrived I noticed my truck was in the same spot I dropped it off. I went to the service counter to get my keys and settle up for the work completed. The service writer could not find the job ticket or the keys. I asked if anyone took the keys out of the night drop box. He said they do that when they first come in each morning. So after about 5 minutes I notice the service writer go to the night box and found the keys I had left so no service work had ever been completed. This created a big problem because I had my wife pick me up in the morning on her way to work then drop me off in the afternoon. My wife was leaving town for the two days so I could not catch a ride with her the next day and I live 40 miles from the dealership. I decided to leave the truck overnight with the plan to pick up at 4pm on 12/18. During the day a service writer named Wendy called and said the truck was done. She also said that a $40.00 discount would be applied to my bill for the mess up the previous day. I picked up the truck at 4pm and checked out with different service writer. I noticed after I got home that there was not a discount given on the bill. Pretty frustrated for what happened orinially and then to not get the small $40.00 discount after I had to pay for transportation to get to the dealership after the mess up is a little hard to swallow
