Confirmed Service Customer
The dealership was great. However I was disappointed in my 2019+ Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The 8 speed transmission and the 5.3 engine with the DFM both had to be replaced. I worry now about it going out in the future and I have heard of numerous failures in that motor and the 8 speed transmission. Kyra, the service advisor did a fantastic job of keeping me informed at each step of the repair process, she handled the warranty paperwork and made it a completely stress free process for me. She deserves some sort of recognition for her excellent customer service. I hope that the issues with the DFM causing oil consumption and lifter failure can be remedied in the future as I love my Chevrolet truck. I understand it is designed like this to meet government fuel standards, but I am starting the process of retirement and a dependable truck is very important to me. Thank you for this opportunity to express my appreciation of the professional work and especially the customer service of my service advisor, Kyra, at Knudtsen Chevrolet.
