2020 Chevrolet Equinox Trim Levels
The new 2020 Chevrolet Equinox remains one of the hottest small crossovers on the market. According to the Chevrolet dealer in Moscow, it now comes standard with even more safety features. There are four feature-packed trims available: L, LS, LT and Premier. Here’s an overview of what each new Equinox trim brings to the table.
Equinox L
This is the most affordable trim at Chevrolet dealerships in Moscow. Many people love its great value. Under the hood rests a 1.5-liter, Ecotec four-cylinder engine. It pushes out a competitive 170 horsepower and 203 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission transfers the available power. Front-wheel drive comes standard.
On the inside, the Equinox L is loaded with must-have features. GM’s award-winning OnStar communications system includes a built-in 4G Wi-Fi hotspot. You’ll also enjoy Chevy’s latest Infotainment 3 interface, which includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Other highlights include keyless entry, Bluetooth and a six-speaker sound system. A power-adjustable driver’s seat is optional. Most importantly, Chevy equips the Equinox L with some valuable accident-avoidance technologies. You’ll enjoy forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane-keep assist.
Equinox LS
The Equinox LS is a step above the base model. However, all-wheel drive is available. Although the LS trim doesn’t look much different, it does give you a few more paint options to choose from. A power-adjustable driver’s seat is optional. If you want to make your kids happy, consider getting the optional rear-seat entertainment system.
Equinox LT
If you’re seeking more luxury, take a look at the Equinox LT. It gives you access to a larger 2.0-liter, turbocharged Ecotec four-cylinder engine. Chevy rates it to develop 252 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. Xenon headlights replace the halogen headlamps found on the lower trims. A power driver’s seat and satellite radio also come standard on the Equinox LT.
There are two optional packages available for the Equinox LT. The Confidence & Convenience package is a popular choice. While heated front seats and dual-zone automatic climate control enhance comfort, blind-spot monitoring makes you more aware of unseen vehicles. Rear parking sensors and remote start are also included in this package. Meanwhile, Chevy’s Infotainment package brings a larger 8.0-inch touchscreen with navigation and additional USB ports.
Equinox Premier
Atop the lineup sits the Equinox Premier. You’ll immediately notice its upgraded 18-inch alloy wheels. This is also the only trim that features LED headlights and taillights. Not only does the Equinox Premier come standard with most of the LT trim’s optional equipment, but it also adds wireless device charging and driver-seat memory functions. A power liftgate is another one of the Premier trim's great features.
For folks who desire a more relaxing ride, Chevy offers a Confidence and Convenience II package. It provides creature comforts like ventilated front seats and heated rear seats. When approaching expected road hazards, the vibrating Safety Alert Seat warns you to take action. A surround-view camera system and adaptive cruise control also come with this package. Meanwhile, music fans will especially love the Bose premium sound system.
