2019 Chevrolet Traverse Maintenance Schedule
The 2019 Chevrolet Traverse is one of the best crossovers you can buy today. With seating for eight passengers, you’ll be able to transport a large family in style and comfort. The ride is smooth and refined. You’ll want to keep your Traverse running safely and reliably for as long as you own it. The best way to do this is to bring it to Knudtsen Chevrolet, your Couer D'Alene Chevrolet Service Center, for scheduled maintenance. Our experienced service technicians will keep your traverse running in optimal condition.
Chevrolet recommends that owners bring their Traverse to the Couer D'Alene Chevy Service Department every 7,500 miles. When you reach this milestone, the service technicians will perform a series of maintenance tasks to ensure your Traverse continues to run properly. For more information on your vehicle’s maintenance schedule, consult your owner’s manual.
7,500 Miles
The first scheduled maintenance visit occurs at 7,500 miles. During this visit, the service technicians will change the oil and check the oil filter to see if it needs to be replaced. This service visit also includes a check for leaks, an inspection of the suspension and steering systems, and an inspection of the fuel and exhaust systems. Other inspections performed by the dealer include the brake system, the windshield wiper fluid and the engine coolant level.
15,000 Miles
The 15,000-mile maintenance visit is essentially the same as the 7,500-mile service, with the addition of a windshield wiper blade replacement.
22,500 Miles
At 22,500 miles, the service technicians will perform the basic service of the 7,500-mile visit, and they’ll also replace the passenger compartment air filter.
45,000 Miles and Beyond
Service visits should continue every 7,500 miles. At 45,000 miles, a few other services will be performed, including replacing the passenger compartment air filter, inspection of the evaporative control system, replacement of the engine air cleaner filter and another windshield wiper blade replacement.
At 97,500 miles, the service technicians will change the spark plugs, and at 150,000 miles, they’ll inspect the drive belt.
In between service visits, there are some services you can perform yourself to keep your Traverse running properly. Check the oil regularly and add more when the levels become low. Inspect the tires once a month for signs of wear and to determine if they are properly inflated.
